About the Pacific Region Maintenance Council (PRMC)

Since September 7, 1979, the Pacific Region Maintenance Council (PRMC) has worked to enhance the industrial maintenance landscape of British Columbia. Over the past four decades, the PRMC has forged new paths, connecting local, underrepresented tradespeople with facilities spanning the oil & gas, refinery, natural gas, and storage sectors.

Our Mission

British Columbia is more than a province; it’s the home of a diverse, multicultural community committed to maintaining its excellence. Our policy of hiring local tradespeople across every region of BC boosts the local economy and allows our contractors to build lifelong careers while supporting their community. Highly skilled and dedicated to safety, our Red Seal-certified contractors are committed to securing long-term apprenticeships and/ or careers in the maintenance workforce. This includes those who are underrepresented in the trades industry, ensuring every dedicated, qualified, and willing individual is given the chance to find lifelong work in the province they call home.

At its essence, the PRMC is not just a position-filling service. Instead, it is a dedication to balancing the dynamics between the labour force and global industry leaders. By understanding the unique nuances of every project, client, and contractor, the PRMC can find long-term solutions, ensuring individual fulfillment and operational excellence.
